We’re going around looking at the modern art. We’re trying to take pictures but we don’t really know why.
It’s one of those dreams that’s about as banal as it gets.
First I’m carefully planning the different neighborhoods and places I have to visit to run errands. Then I go run those errands.
It’s fun to revel in the quotidian, though, isn’t it?

Scaling cliffs in a sandy wasteland world.
One cliff leads to an expansive plateau but other cliffs seem to lead nowhere.
The silence is odd, as if I’ve turned off the sound in the world.

I’m shopping for vases in my dream.
I never seem to have enough vases. I can always use another size or shape, so I’m always on the lookout for a new perfect vessel. Inevitably, vase shopping pops up in my dreams, reminding me to swing by the thrift store (one of my favorite sources) to see if there’s anything good to fill out my collection.
In my dream, I’m waiting in Golden Gate Park for the party bus, wearing my favorite blue denim dress. We’re going to go party, clearly.

We’re driving around the rocky wilderness. We get out of the car to explore along the rocks.
We’re crossing whole states in our wandering, traversing an unreal distance in a short amount of time.

At some kind of contemporary art museum where there were a lot of displays of giant candy and neon. The crowds are loving them.
We’re exploring a secret part of the map, looking for a very specific place. It’s a church, or is it a castle, or something else? I can’t exactly describe what we’re looking for, but we’ll know it when we’ve found it. And after looking for a while, we do find it.
In my dream we’re driving along somewhere and see a field of California poppies and have to pull over to hang out for a bit.
